Molding Press Operator

Our client, a manufacturer located in McElhattan, PA, is growing and looking to add Press Operators to their Molding team! Immediate openings on both day and night shift available. These are full time opportunities!

Job Duties:

• Set up and operate plastic injection molding equipment
• Adhere to quality standards and inspection guidelines for each part number
• Remove finished parts from machines and examine for visual or cosmetic imperfections
• Notify the supervisor of any defects; perform minor finishing tasks such as trimming, cutting, or cleaning as needed
• Complete secondary processes including drilling, heat staking, coating, pin insertion, and other tasks as outlined in work instructions
• Package completed products in accordance with shop order requirements
• Utilize measuring tools and documentation to track quality data; assist with material recycling and rework of non-conforming parts
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Inspect and verify proper function of all machine safety features at the start and end of each shift

• High School Diploma/GED required
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Ability to sit and/or stand for entire shift
• Previous experience utilizing small hand tools
• Perform high and low repetition jobs
• Perform fine manipulations
• Firm grasping and firm cutting (up to 25 pounds of pressure periodically)
• Work through range of motions including bend and twist from waist, and above shoulder height

Pay:
$16.37 Day shift
$17.87 Night Shift

Hours:
12 hour shift: 5:45am to 6:00 pm
12 hour shift: 5:45 pm to 6:00 am
