- Troubleshoot and correct problems with equipment, processes, and components.
- Monitor and maintain equipment safety devices.
- Monitor and maintain proper component quality standards.
- Coordinate and monitor proper start up and shut down of the molding processes in the area.
- Coordinate and monitor the maintenance of system filters and Conair system.
- Perform pull/sets of mold tools.
- Set up and maintain granulators, conveyors, separators, mold temp control units, water temp control units, resin dryers and scales for assigned machines.
- Perform required inspections, mold approvals, rejections, setup of gauges and leak testing.
- Responsible for accurate and timely production reporting.
- Assist with repairs when needed.
- Perform and ensure completion of all PMs.
- Ensure all inspections are completed in a timely manner.
- Assist with continuous improvement projects.
- Ensure supportive communication between shifts.
- Ensure proper clean up and disposal of wastewater and waste oil.
- Assist in training new personnel as requested.
- Maintain regular, punctual attendance.
EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
- High School diploma or GED required.
- 1+ year experience in molding.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Must be able to read, write and speak English.
- Basic computer keyboard and navigational skills including Microsoft Office.
- General knowledge of molding machines, resins and processes preferred.
- Good understanding of mold design and operation preferred.
- Thorough knowledge of molded parts, quality specifications and inspection procedures preferred.
