Position- Molding Technician
Location-Winston Salem
Shift -1st
Pay- $20, depending on experience.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
The Mold Technician sets up, operates, and maintains rubber molding presses (compression, injection, or transfer) to produce rubber products. Key duties include performing mold changes/setup, troubleshooting, conducting in-process inspections to meet quality standards, and conducting preventative maintenance to ensure efficient, safe production, often in high-heat environments.
Requirements and Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent
· Ability to work with hand tools, read work orders and understand safety procedures.
· Good communication skills
· Ability to work independently as well as with a team.
· Strong problem-solving skills and understands basic mechanical principles.
· Ability to work with complex machinery.
· Familiarity with manufacturing processes and techniques is highly desirable.
· Must be physically fit and able to stand and move throughout the plant.
· Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
· Must have reliable transportation to report on-site daily.
· Must be adaptable to seasonal weather changes and occasionally deal with high temperature.
