    • Hillcrest Hospital Claremore is a 49-bed acute care medical center offering a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services, including maternity, cardiology, emergency, orthopedics, alcohol withdrawal stabilization, gastroenterology and surgery.

    Learn About a Day in the Life of a Monitor Technician:

    Responsibilities:
    • Responsible for supporting the mission of the hospital.
    • Monitor Technician under the direction and supervision of the ICU charge nurse.
    • Responsible for monitoring the EKG patterns of patients on telemetry.
    • Responsible for manning the nursing station.
    • Performing clerical/receptionist duties, requisitioning supplies, equipment, and services from other departments.
    • Transcribing/entering patient orders.
    Qualifications:

    Job Requirements:

    • High School graduate or equivalent.
    • Must have skills to respond quickly and calmly under stressful or emergency situations.
    • Must possess written skills to write legibly.
    • Good telephone etiquette.
    • Clean, well-kept appearance.

    Preferred Job Requirements:

    • Telemetry experience.
    • Hospital experience.
