Montessori Classroom Assistant (Part-Time | Approximately 35 Hours/Week)

Neshaminy Montessori is seeking a caring, dependable, and enthusiastic Montessori Classroom Assistant to join our team for the upcoming school year.

This part-time position (approximately 35 hours per week) offers the opportunity to work alongside an experienced Montessori teacher in a beautiful, child-centered classroom where respect, independence, and a love of learning are nurtured every day.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting the lead teacher in maintaining a peaceful and prepared classroom environment
• Supporting children as they work independently and in small groups
• Helping with classroom organization, materials, and daily routines
• Supervising children indoors and outdoors
• Working collaboratively with faculty and families to create a positive school community

Qualifications:

• Experience working with young children required
• Montessori experience or Montessori training is a plus
• Warm, patient, reliable, and professional
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to meet all Pennsylvania childcare employment requirements
