We are seeking a mindful, observant, and dedicated Montessori student or assistant to join our home environment in the Niwot area. This is a unique opportunity for an educator-in-training to work alongside an experienced Guide in a home specifically prepared to support the independence of a 20-month-old child. This role is not traditional babysitting. You will be responsible for maintaining the order of his indoor environment, guiding his outdoor explorations, observing the child's needs, and supporting his development through respectful engagement and freedom within limits. Qualifications: Current Montessori Enrollment: Ideally currently enrolled in an Infant/Toddler or Primary training program. Pedagogical Alignment: A deep, lived understanding of the Follow the Child philosophy and the importance of the Absorbent Mind. Personal Attributes: Reliability, a calm and grounded presence, and a natural ability to remain an observer rather than an entertainer. Language/Communication: Clear, respectful communication skills (both with the child and the parents).
