About the Role:
Join KINDERNEST MONTESSORI SCHOOL  as a Montessori Lead Teacher for children aged 3-6 in the vibrant community of Newtonhighland, MA. This role offers an exciting opportunity to inspire young minds through the Montessori method while fostering a nurturing and engaging learning environment.



Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized lesson plans that align with Montessori principles.
• Guide and support children in their learning and personal development.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment.
• Communicate regularly with parents about student progress and classroom activities.
• Facilitate group activities that promote social skills and teamwork.
• Observe and assess student performance to tailor educational approaches.
• Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance curriculum and teaching strategies.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current in Montessori education.

Requirements:

• Montessori Early Childhood credential (AMI, AMS, or MACTE strongly preferred) EEC
• Teacher or Lead Teacher certification (or in progress)
• Experience working with ages 3 to 6 and a calm, positive, professional teaching presence
