Responsibilities

• Implement Montessori principles and practices to maintain a thoughtfully prepared Primary classroom (ages 3–6)
• Develop and present individualized lessons using Montessori materials and methods
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages independence, concentration, and respectful collaboration
• Observe, assess, and document student progress to support each child’s academic and developmental growth
• Provide constructive guidance and support to help students reach their full potential
• Collaborate with classroom assistants, fellow guides, and administration
• Communicate effectively and professionally with parents to support each child’s educational journey and well-being

Qualifications

• Montessori Primary Certification (AMI, AMS, or equivalent) preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Child Development, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of early childhood teaching experience required
• Experience in a Montessori Primary classroom or with young children strongly preferred
• Strong observation, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated passion for working with children and commitment to Montessori philosophy
