Montessori Teacher (All Levels)

Sandwich Montessori School – Cape Cod
Full-Time

We are seeking Montessori educators who want to focus deeply on classroom practice while continuing to grow professionally within a collaborative school community.

Join a School Where Educators Grow

At Sandwich Montessori School, we believe adults deserve the same thoughtfully prepared learning environment that children do.

Our classrooms operate as small, collaborative microschools where educators work closely together, develop their craft over time, and grow into long-term educational leaders.

Sandwich Montessori School is part of a growing educational organization focused on building strong Montessori programs and supporting educators over the long term.

Teachers at Sandwich Montessori School work alongside a Teacher Leader and Teaching Partner as part of a collaborative classroom team. This structure allows teachers to focus deeply on Montessori practice while contributing meaningfully to the development of the classroom community.

Many educators are drawn to our school because they are looking for a place where they can continue growing professionally while remaining deeply connected to the work of guiding children.

A Collaborative Montessori Classroom Model

Each classroom operates as a collaborative team consisting of:

Teacher Leader Teacher Teaching Partner

This structure allows educators to focus deeply on children while also learning from one another and developing their craft over time.

Teachers work closely with the Teacher Leader to support the Montessori environment while also helping guide the daily rhythm of the classroom and protect the integrity of the Montessori work cycle.  Teachers play a key role in preparing the environment, presenting lessons, observing children, and maintaining the calm and orderly atmosphere that supports concentration and independence.

Many Teachers continue growing into Lead Teacher and Teacher Leader roles as their experience and leadership develop.

What You'll Do

Teachers play an essential role in maintaining the Montessori environment and supporting children's development.

Responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating closely with the Teacher Leader and Teaching Partner
  • Supporting literacy routines and language-rich classroom interactions
  • Communicating thoughtfully with families and the classroom team
