Mooring barge operator is a full-time position of mooring maintenance.  Responsibilities include the maintenance of approximately 300 moorings which will need wintersticks removed and pennants reinstalled in the spring and vice versa in the fall.  Moorings also require inspections.  Pennants and buoys will have to be power washed at the time of hauling and painted over the winter and inspected for wear and tear.  Must be able to operate and maintain a 30’ barge with twin outboards to include a hydraulic knuckle boom.  The applicant must be able to work independently.  This position requires the applicant to lift over 50 lbs. at times.  Salary is based on experience.  Benefits include health insurance (company pays 50%), 401k, bonuses (mid-season and end of year), life insurance, vacation time and sick time.
