Lifeguard - Part time - Will trainFor more than 80 years, St. Andrew's Parks & Playground Commission has enriched lives through parks, recreation, and wellness.St. Andrew's Family Fitness Plus, a subdivision of St. Andrew's Parks and Playground, is currently hiring Lifeguards for our indoor and seasonal outdoor pools. As a Lifeguard at St. Andrew's Family Fitness Plus, you will ensure safety in the pool area, enforce rules and regulations, and perform other related duties as assigned. Pay: $16 - $18 per hour depending on experience and certificationsEssential Duties:Creates an inspiring experience for all agency customersEnsures the safety and well-being of participants using the pool facilityMonitors the pool for appropriate chemical and temperature levelsAttends mandatory monthly staff meetingSchedule: Part-time, up to 29 hours per week. Schedules are flexible, with shifts typically being in 4 hour increments.Qualifications:Must be at least 16 years of age or olderAt least 1 year of guarding experience preferred, but not requiredMust possess a Lifeguard Certification, or the ability to pass/obtain the certification prior to first scheduled shiftWe welcome applicants of all experience levels, including those new to lifeguarding.
