About the Role

We are seeking a reliable Packaging Operator to support production and packaging operations in a fast-paced environment. This position involves working with packaging equipment, assisting with new product packaging methods (including flexible bagging), and supporting related processes as needed.

This is an early-start role ideal for someone who enjoys staying active, working with their hands, and being part of a team focused on quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Set up, operate, adjust, clean, and sanitize packaging equipment
  • Assist with flexible bag packaging processes and support other production tasks as needed
  • Prepare packaging materials such as bags and labels
  • Verify product details, including batch and lot numbers
  • Transfer materials into processing equipment
  • Stack and move finished goods for storage, including work in cold environments
  • Transport materials throughout the facility
  • Identify and report equipment issues
  • Complete production and inventory documentation
  • Collect samples for quality checks when required
  • Follow all safety, quality, and operating procedures
Requirements
  • Previous production or manufacturing experience preferred
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively
  • Basic math skills (weights, measurements, conversions)
  • Comfortable with early morning shifts and physically active work
  • Ability to work in varying temperatures, including cold storage
  • Basic computer skills; familiarity with inventory systems is a plus
  • Experience operating pallet jacks or forklifts preferred
