Job Description
About the Role
We are seeking a reliable Packaging Operator to support production and packaging operations in a fast-paced environment. This position involves working with packaging equipment, assisting with new product packaging methods (including flexible bagging), and supporting related processes as needed.
This is an early-start role ideal for someone who enjoys staying active, working with their hands, and being part of a team focused on quality and efficiency.
Responsibilities
Set up, operate, adjust, clean, and sanitize packaging equipment
Assist with flexible bag packaging processes and support other production tasks as needed
Prepare packaging materials such as bags and labels
Verify product details, including batch and lot numbers
Transfer materials into processing equipment
Stack and move finished goods for storage, including work in cold environments
Transport materials throughout the facility
Identify and report equipment issues
Complete production and inventory documentation
Collect samples for quality checks when required
Follow all safety, quality, and operating procedures
Requirements
Previous production or manufacturing experience preferred
Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively
Basic math skills (weights, measurements, conversions)
Comfortable with early morning shifts and physically active work
Ability to work in varying temperatures, including cold storage
Basic computer skills; familiarity with inventory systems is a plus
Experience operating pallet jacks or forklifts preferred
