Morning Support Teacher
We are seeking a dependable and energetic morning Support Teacher to help prepare our school for the start of each day. This role is essential in creating a welcoming, organized, and safe environment for children, families, and staff during morning arrival hours.
Schedule
- Full-time
- Early morning shift beginning at 6:30AM
Responsibilities
- Open and prepare classrooms and common areas for the school day
- Ensure classrooms are clean, organized, and ready for children and teachers
- Welcome and supervise children as they arrive beginning at 6:30 AM
- Provide support in assigned classrooms based on daily staffing needs
- Follow direction from leadership team members regarding classroom placement and daily responsibilities
- Assist with maintaining a safe, nurturing, and positive environment for children
- Communicate professionally with staff, children, and families during morning arrival
Qualifications
- Reliable, punctual, and able to consistently arrive early each morning
- Experience working with young children preferred
- Positive attitude and willingness to be flexible in supporting different classrooms
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work independently
- Must meet all state licensing requirements for childcare staff
