What You'll Do
As a Mortgage Assistant, you will be responsible for:
- Preparing mortgage documents from start to finish
- Managing loan payoffs, discharges, and registry of deeds
- Assisting with contacting attorneys, appraisers, and brokers
- Ordering appraisals and title work as needed
- Tracking homeowners insurance
- Answering customer questions and concerns
- Performing backup duties for customer service
What You'll Bring
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
- High school diploma
- 6+ months of mortgage experience preferred
- Familiarity with banking operations preferred
- Notary Public Certification preferred
- Strong office skills and attention to detail
