We are a professional staffing firm, working with organizations across the country to place exceptional candidates. Currently, we have a Mortgage Closing Team Lead opportunity with a growing, national lender. The Closing Team Lead will assist in overseeing a team of Closers, while maintaining responsibility for closing an assigned pipeline.

The Mortgage Closing Team Lead isresponsible for the specific duties listed below.

Your specific duties will include:
  • Managing and closing an assigned pipeline of residential mortgage loans, including purchase, refinance, conventional, FHA, VA, and USDA transactions.
  • Monitoring team workloads, productivity, and service levels to ensure performance goals are achieved.
  • Preparing and reviewing closing packages, disclosures, and settlement documents for accuracy and compliance.
  • Coordinating with title companies, settlement agents, attorneys, loan officers, processors, underwriters, and borrowers to facilitate successful closings.
  • Serving as the primary escalation point for complex closing scenarios and operational challenges.
  • Assisting with workflow management and resource allocation during periods of high volume.
  • Supporting process improvement initiatives designed to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
Required qualifications for the position include:
  • High school diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of mortgage closing experience.
  • 2+ years of leadership, team lead, or supervisory experience within mortgage operations preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of residential mortgage closing processes, TRID requirements, investor guidelines, and regulatory compliance.
  • Experience with purchase and refinance transactions.
  • Ability to review Closing Disclosures, settlement statements, and closing packages for accuracy.
Pay Rate Range: $70,000 - $90,000 plus bonus

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience, and location. Employees have access to healthcare benefits, including medical, dental, and vision as well as a 401(k) plan.
