We are currently seeking a Mortgage Default Operations Analyst to join our team. This is a in-office position located at our Zions Bancorporation Technology Center in Midvale, UT.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the management of an effective and efficient framework of internal controls, operational testing for defaults and ensuring sub servicer's compliance with investor and regulatory requirements.
Ensures compliance with regulatory oversight agencies and all other applicable non-regulatory agencies through quality management of risk including proper assessment, control, testing and reconciliation.
Ensures periodic validation of model/control inputs and performance.
Works directly with client peers and vendor management teams to maximize the affiliate and vendor relationships, identify/implement best practices and ensure the timely resolution of issues as they relate to operations.
Responsible for the consistent interpretation and execution of all policies and procedures.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Requires a Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field and 2+ years experience with mortgage servicing, loss mitigation, foreclosures, bankruptcy, REO and/or other directly related experience.
Strong proficiency in Excel and knowledge of other reporting applications, i.e. PowerBI
A combination of education and experience may meet requirements.
Working knowledge of loan default servicing software, Black Knight products preferred, including Desktop, Process Management. Ability to balance multiple demands and work both independently and as part of a team to develop solutions.
Ability to communicate with all levels of management; both written and verbal.
Ability to present information to senior-level audiences in simple, logical terms.
Strong execution skills; ability to drive results.
Strong attention to detail, project management and prioritization skills will be key in balancing daily deadlines with timely implementation of strategic projects.
Demonstrate the high levels of integrity, character, and professionalism in affiliate, associate, customer and vendor interaction as a representative of the company.
