We are seeking a motivated and experienced Mortgage Loan Officer II to join our team in Beloit, WI. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mortgage lending, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to manage the loan process from application through closing.
Responsibilities
- Originate and process mortgage loan applications in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Evaluate borrower's financial status, credit, and property evaluations to determine feasibility of granting loans.
- Provide expert guidance to clients on mortgage products, rates, and terms to help them make informed decisions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with real estate agents, builders, and other referral sources.
- Ensure timely and accurate documentation and communication throughout the loan process.
- Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and lending products.
- Meet or exceed individual and team production goals.
Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Mortgage Loan Officer or Mortgage Lender II.
- Strong knowledge of mortgage lending products, underwriting guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to analyze financial information and credit reports.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficient with mortgage loan origination software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid state mortgage license or ability to obtain one.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in mortgage lending or related financial services.
