About the Role:
Carlile Realty Group is looking for a driven and personable Mortgage Loan Originator to join our growing team in Sacramento, CA. Responsibilities:

• Originate and process residential mortgage loans from application through closing
• Consult with prospective borrowers to assess financial needs and recommend suitable loan products
• Build and maintain a pipeline of referral sources including realtors, builders, and financial advisors
• Collect and review borrower documentation including income, credit, and asset verification
• Coordinate with underwriters, processors, and escrow officers to ensure timely loan closings
• Stay current on mortgage guidelines, loan programs, and compliance regulations
• Provide exceptional customer service throughout the entire loan process

Requirements:

• Active NMLS license (or ability to obtain one) required
• 1+ years of experience in mortgage lending, loan origination, or a related field preferred
• Strong knowledge of conventional, FHA, VA, and other loan products
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage a sales pipeline
• Familiarity with loan origination software and mortgage compliance standards
• California real estate or lending background is a plus
