Mortgage Loan Processor (Full Time) - Baton Rouge, LA - Days and hours of work are Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES - Gather information and take each file from pre-approval to closing
- Input proper loan information into the system for processing
- Responsible for ensuring that all loan documentation is complete accurate verified and complies with company policy
- Verify loan documents including income credit appraisal and title insurance ultimately preparing application for submittal to underwriting
- Review file documentation and make sure all items needed are requested
- Order and coordinate loan documents
- Meet crucial deadlines requested
- Perform any additional duties/activities assigned by management
JOB REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS - 2-5 years mortgage loan processing experience, prefers experience with FHA, VA and USDA products
- Knowledge of mortgage lending products, documentation, policies and procedures, service and delivery methods
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to interact effectively with internal/external customers via telephone, email and in person
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Experience working with a Windows-based computer environment
- Residency in one of the following states is a requirement for the position: Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee, or Texas.
