2+ years of mortgage processing experience preferred
Knowledge of conventional, FHA, VA, and USDA loan programs
Familiarity with mortgage compliance and lending regulations
Experience with LOS platforms such as Encompass or Calyx preferred
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple loans and deadlines simultaneously
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Key Responsibilities
Review loan applications and supporting documentation for completeness and accuracy
Communicate with borrowers, loan officers, underwriters, title companies, and third parties to collect required information
Verify income, employment, assets, credit, and property documentation
Prepare and submit loan files to underwriting
Monitor loan status and ensure deadlines are met throughout the loan lifecycle
Resolve documentation issues and satisfy underwriting conditions
Maintain compliance with federal, state, and investor lending regulations
Order appraisals, title work, flood certifications, and other required services
Ensure all disclosures and closing documents are properly completed and delivered
Provide exceptional customer service throughout the loan process
