Job title: Member Services Representative, Mortgage Processing
\nDuration: 3-4 Months+
\nLocation: Fort Worth, Texas 76155
\nJob Purpose
\nResponsible for creating new mortgage loans and processing applications for purchase or refinance of real estate.
\nPrincipal Duties and Responsibilities
\nPrepare pre-closing Loan Quality Initiative requirements, credit analysis and quality control of the loan information
\nProvide accurate closing and funding of our mortgage loans in all 50 states plus the Virgin Islands, using the Prime Alliance LFC system
\nServe in a backup role for initial member contact via incoming phone calls and for taking applications through our Prime Alliance loan origination system
\nRepresent the Mortgage Department in various Credit Union days, seminars and other special projects as directed by the management staff of the Mortgage Department
\nMeet deadlines and assists with production goals
\nPerform other duties as assigned
\nThe selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring the security and confidentiality of all account and related information which is part of their work and for ensuring that his/her work is in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations including, but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act.
\nMinimum Qualifications
\nHigh school diploma or GED
\nPreferred Qualifications
\nPrevious banking or Credit Union experience
\nPrevious mortgage lending experience
\nPrevious knowledge of FNMA, NCUA and AAFCU Mortgage Lending Guidelines
\nPrevious Residential Mortgage Closing and Funding experience
\nPrevious working knowledge of PC Software including Desktop Underwriting, Prime Alliance, and Episys
\nKnowledge, Skills & Abilities
\nSkilled in Microsoft Office software (e.g., Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) gained through either work experience with the software or education and hands-on use of the software
\nAbility to perform in a fast paced environment, handle multiple tasks and function as an integral part of a team
\nSkilled in above average interpersonal and communication skills and professional telephone manners
\nAbility to effectively communicate with all levels both verbally and written
\nAbility to speak, read, and write Spanish is a plus
\nAbility to work well under deadlines and high volume pressure
\nAbility to work in a diverse work environment
\nAbility to quickly learn and adapt well to change
\nAbility to self-motivate with strong organization skills and capacity for attention to detail
\nAbility to maintain satisfactory performance and attendance
