Description
Job Summary:
Loan processor collects and verifies the borrower(s) personal information and financial records required for the loan, pulls together and prepares all loan documents that are submitted to the underwriter/lender of the loan, and keep the records in order for the financial transaction.
Major Responsibilities
Customer Service:
Acts as a liaison between borrower(s), bank attorney, borrower’s attorney if applicable, lender and loan originator.
Provides borrower(s), with timely and periodic status updates of their loan application.
Updates mortgage loan approval and follows up on missing documents.
Establish, maintain, and update files, databases, records, and/or other documents for recurring internal reports.
File System Management:
Compiles documents borrower files and enters information into the office data management system. 2) Assure that all borrower(s) files are complete and in compliance with regulatory agencies and internal polices.
Administrative Support:
Process the documents received for each file.
Verify the accuracy and completeness of each document.
Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and abilities required:
Must be willing to quickly & efficiently learn loan processing skills if not experienced.
Ability to provide excellent customer service in person and on the phone.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and frequent interruptions.
Ability to handle stressful situations with calmness and courtesy.
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
Bilingual- Fluent in English and Spanish a must.
Excellent records and file management skills.
Proficiency in using Microsoft Word, Gmail, Adobe Professional.
