Job Description
A financial services organization in Florida is seeking a new Mortgage Operations Support Assistant to join their growing team in Pensacola. This hybrid role supports mortgage production teams with documentation, member follow-up, and loan-processing coordination to help ensure accurate and timely loan origination.
About the Opportunity:
- Shift: Day shift
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 8:30am to 5pm
- Setting: Hybrid (at least 3 days a week)
Responsibilities:
- Support new loan setup through document indexing, validation, and mortgage system updates
- Conduct member follow-up regarding outstanding documentation and loan status
- Maintain accurate notes, contact histories, and action items in mortgage databases
- Review daily production reports and complete related follow-up actions
- Prepare production reports and provide administrative support to mortgage operations teams
Qualifications:
- 6+ months of relevant work experience
- High School Diploma / GED
- Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, and multiple computer applications
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and customer service skills
- Ability to work accurately with numbers and documentation
- Ability to interact professionally with members, management, vendors, and internal teams
Desired Skills:
- Experience in Mortgage Operations, Banking, Financial Services, or Customer Service
- Prior experience in Mortgage Lending or Loan Origination
- Familiarity with Mortgage products, policies, and procedures
- Experience with Mortgage lending systems and databases
- Previous experience mentoring or training team members
