The Mortgage Post-Closer's primary function is to complete the post-closing process for all mortgage loans.
In this position, you will
Ensure thorough post-closing of first mortgages, verifying complete settlement packages and obtaining any missing information from Settlement Agents.
Follow up on recorded mortgages and final title policies for recently closed loans, ensuring compliance with At Closing conditions.
Manage the packaging and timely delivery of mortgage loans to the Secondary Market, keeping track of commitments and alerting management to potential issues.
Serve as the primary contact for internal queries and third-party audits, overseeing file preparation and review, and addressing any significant findings.
Enter loan commitments and details into investor software and origination systems, ensuring accurate data for reporting and tracking, and preparing documents for delivery.
