As a Mortgage Process Quality Coordinator at CoVantage Credit Union, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring mortgage loans and appraisals meet secondary market, regulatory, and internal standards—helping protect our members and strengthen our lending operations. You’ll work independently while collaborating closely with appraisers, lenders, and internal teams, using your attention to detail and analytical skills to drive accuracy, improve processes, and support a high‑quality member experience. Job Duties:

  • Assists with maintaining a current list of approved appraisers that is sufficient to meet CoVantage business needs and that are in good standing with Fannie Mae Requirements. This includes obtaining, reviewing, and retaining appropriate documentation to ensure CoVantage is working with licensed, reputable appraisers.
  • Maintains communication with approved and potential appraisers to ensure ongoing professional work relationships between CoVantage and our third-party vendors.
  • Maintains the confidentiality of member, employee, and credit union information.
  • Recommends new reputable appraisers to add to the CoVantage approved appraiser list and helps with obtaining required documentation.
  • Remains current with the requirements of a well-run system for appraisal ordering, appraisal review, reporting, record retention and related functions.
  • Provides exceptional quality and timely communication with appraisers as well as mortgage and commercial lending and processing staff.

Requirements:

  • Knowledgeable in Microsoft office, with special attention to Excel.

  • Proficient in CoVantage Synergy, Source and windows programs.

  • Previous experience working with mortgage loan documents, appraisals and/or loan processing or underwriting will be beneficial.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment utilizing good time management skills. 
  • Must be bondable.
