Sparks Group has teamed up with a boutique mortgage broker and lender looking for a detail-driven Mortgage Processor who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment—this is the kind of role that keeps you sharp and challenged. We’re seeking someone with 3+ years of experience who can confidently own files from disclosures to close. Experience in the broker/wholesale channel is a strong plus.  Position is 100% remote initially with the potential earn one remote day a week. 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Managing files end-to-end (cradle to grave) once disclosures are out
  • Reviewing full loan packages (1003, income, assets, credit, contracts, etc.)
  • Submitting clean files to underwriting within 24 hours
  • Driving conditions, coordinating appraisals, title, and insurance, and pushing files to CTC
  • Proactively communicating with borrowers, loan officers, and partners
  • Monitoring rate locks and ensuring on-time closings
  • Maintaining organization across systems (LendingPad/TPO)

What Success Looks Like:

  • Managing approximately 15 loans per month (up to 25 during peak periods)
  • Building a strong understanding of guidelines within the first 30/60/90 days
  • Consistently meeting timelines and keeping loans on track to close

Qualifications:

3-years of experience preferred - but we are also looking for more than just experience

  • Degree is preferred but not required  
  • You are articulate, polished, and professional
  • You can confidently speak to guidelines, appraisals, and loan structure
  • You bring a high level of ownership, attention to detail, and critical thinking
Technology:
  • LendingPad - Preferred but not required

Pay Range: Salary $60,000.00 to $80,000.00
