Now Hiring: Mortgage Sales Leader | South Bend, IN

A nationally recognized financial institution is looking for a Mortgage Sales Leader to run its primary mortgage loan production operation. This is a senior leadership seat — you'd own the division, manage a team, drive production, and have a direct impact on how the organization grows its mortgage business.

COMPENSATION

  • $130,000 – $150,000 base salary

WHAT YOU'D NEED

  • 10+ years in mortgage lending
  • Strong credit and underwriting knowledge
  • Experience managing a mortgage division or MLO team
  • Track record driving production goals
  • State and federal compliance knowledge
  • Values community service and family-oriented culture
  • Bachelor's degree is preferred, but at least a High School / GED education.
  • Willing to relocate to South Bend, IN

Backgrounds at community banks, regional banks, credit unions, CUSOs, brokerage houses, or government-sponsored enterprises are a strong fit.

WHAT YOU'D BE DOING

  • Owning the full mortgage production operation and leading a team of two
  • Building and hitting production targets — volume, closings, pull-through, profitability
  • Getting MLOs to produce in any market
  • Monitoring the pipeline and adjusting when trends shift
  • Refining workflows, improving processes, removing bottlenecks
  • Working cross-functionally with credit, underwriting, and ops
  • Growing the business through new channels, referral sources, partnerships
  • Full management authority — hiring, reviews, promotions, terminations
  • Keeping the division audit-ready at all times
  • Being a face in the community — civic involvement, local relationships
