Reports To: Mortgage Servicing Administration Officer
Primary Functions: Provide customer service to mortgage and real estate loan borrowers by responding to various requests and providing accurate information in a timely manner.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Education: High school graduate or equivalent.
Creditable Experience in Lieu of Education: Not Applicable
Experience/Skills: Mortgage Servicing Administration Specialist I requires one-year experience in the mortgage loan servicing field. Real estate lending or other financial services field may be substituted. Mortgage Servicing Administration Specialist II requires a minimum of two years experience in the real estate lending field with one year associated with the mortgage loan servicing or production field. Mortgage Servicing Administration Specialist III requires a minimum or three years experience in the real estate field with one year being servicing related. Must demonstrate the ability to handle conflict resolution with borrowers and have strong letter writing abilities. Must have good communication skills with working knowledge of mortgage documents, terminology and investor/insurer requirements. Ability to handle all member/borrower inquiries while complying with various investor requirements. Direct member/borrower contact is required. Proficient typing, data input and calculator skills.
Tenure: Mortgage Servicing Administration Specialist II (Category 14) requires six months tenure in the Mortgage Servicing Administration Specialist I (Category 15) position with performance that meets or exceeds expectations. Mortgage Servicing Administration Specialist III (Category 13) requires one year tenure in the Mortgage Servicing Administration Specialist II (Category 14) position with performance that meets or exceeds expectations. Directly related work experience may be substituted for tenure.
Compensation:Starting base salary will be determined based on candidate experience, qualifications, education, and applicable local or state wage requirements, and will fall within the range provided below. In accordance with our Salary Administration policy, new hire base salaries generally fall between the minimum and midpoint of the listed range.
