Now Hiring: Mortgage Specialist in Dallas - 1st Shift

Join our team in Dallas, a vibrant city known for its rich history, diverse culture, and thriving economy. As a Mortgage Specialist, you'll play a crucial role in our operations, ensuring compliance with industry standards and delivering exceptional service.

Position Summary

Adhere to safety and security procedures and comply with all department and compliance standards. Perform tasks to meet metrics and service levels throughout the day. Responsibilities may include document preparation, scanning, indexing, quality control, content review, and certification.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Operational Tasks: Accurately process financial documents according to specifications. Meet processing goals and individual metrics. Communicate effectively with peers and management. Utilize excellent PC and keyboarding skills with high attention to detail to match names, numbers, and other data to documents.
  • Teaming/TCS: Consistently meet or exceed customer service level standards and metrics.
  • Human Resources/Workforce Leadership: Be familiar with policies for timecards, vacation, and team meetings. Be a positive force in the operation.
  • Safety & Security: Ensure compliance with Federal, State/Provincial, and local laws, as well as company policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Experience Required

  • 3-6 months of experience in the mortgage service or document custody industry in a multi-business and multi-site operation.
  • Experience in a goal-oriented, fast-paced production environment.
  • Possess experience in performing repetitive work tasks.

Skills Required

  • Basic verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent PC and keyboarding skills with high attention to detail.
  • Demonstrate and maintain excellent attendance.
  • Ability to move quickly and accurately with hands while multitasking.
  • Ability to work overtime and Saturdays with short notice.
  • Must be detail-oriented.

Education Required

  • Minimum Education: High School Diploma/GED
  • Preferred Experience: 1 year

Physical Requirements

  • Able to reach above head, lift and move files as required.
  • Sitting required for 80% of the day.
  • Lifting, moving, pushing, and pulling equipment, cases, metal containers, or boxes in excess of:
    • 10-20 lbs. occasionally
    • 30-40 lbs. occasionally
    • 40 lbs. rarely
