Join Our Team as a Mortgage Systems Administrator!

Are you passionate about technology, process improvement, and supporting the mortgage lending experience? FORUM Credit Union is looking for a detail-oriented and collaborative Mortgage Systems Administrator to serve as the subject matter expert and primary administrator for our Mortgage Lending System.

 

In this role, you'll be responsible for the ongoing administration, configuration, support, and optimization of our Loan Origination System (LOS), Point of Sale (POS) platform, and third-party integrations. You'll partner closely with Mortgage Operations, Secondary, Compliance, Risk, Information Security, and IT teams to ensure our systems remain secure, efficient, and aligned with regulatory and business needs.

 

The Mortgage Systems Administrator plays a critical role in maintaining system stability, implementing enhancements, supporting users, and driving continuous improvements that help deliver an exceptional experience for both employees and members.

Responsibilities:

What you'll do:

  • Administer user accounts, roles, personas, and permissions within the Mortgage Lending System, including access provisioning, deprovisioning, and periodic access reviews
  • Configure and maintain system settings, business rules, workflows, input forms, and custom fields to support operational needs
  • Develop, test, document, and implement system enhancements and process improvements
  • Troubleshoot system issues, manage incidents, monitor system performance, and coordinate resolutions with internal teams and vendors
  • Manage system releases and updates, including impact analysis, testing, deployment coordination, and stakeholder communication
  • Support integrations and third-party vendor tools, including document providers, pricing engines, and credit and verification services
  • Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and data extracts while ensuring data integrity and consistency across environments
  • Partner with Compliance, Risk, and Information Security teams to support audits, maintain controls, and ensure secure system configurations
  • Maintain system documentation, procedures, and configuration inventories
  • Serve as a resource for end users by providing guidance, troubleshooting support, and best practice recommendations

Qualifications:

What we're looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Three to five years of experience administering or supporting a mortgage lending system or comparable mortgage LOS
  • Experience with user access management, system configuration, and workflow administration
  • Prior experience with Encompass and familiarity with reporting and analytics tools preferred
  • Strong understanding of the mortgage origination lifecycle, from application through closing and funding
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical and operational issues while effectively partnering with business users and vendors
