Looking for skilled Motor Assemblers!

**Monday-Friday, you have to be open to start around 7 or 8am and leave around 4pm or 5p**

 

The Motor Assembler is responsible for assembling electric motors and related subassemblies in

accordance with work instructions, engineering drawings, and manufacturing documentation. This role

supports quality standards and on-time delivery through accurate assembly, specialized equipment

operation, electrical wiring, painting, and occasional repair of existing motors.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

-Assemble components and subassemblies according to manufacturing specifications and

documentation.

-Prepare, terminate, and wire electrical leads in accordance with electrical standards.

-Magnetize and assemble rotor assemblies using specialized equipment.

-Balance rotor assemblies to required tolerances.

-Apply coatings and paint to parts, subassemblies, and completed motors.

-Communicate progress, schedule concerns, and production issues to the manager/supervisor in a

timely manner.

Education and Experience

-High school diploma or equivalent required.

-Minimum of three years of experience in electric motor assembly required.

-Experience with machining, painting, electrical wiring, and electrical testing preferred.

Technical Requirements:

-Ability to apply basic math concepts, including fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions

-Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation

-Strong mechanical aptitude and fine motor skills

-Proficient in the use of measurement tools to ensure dimensional accuracy

-Ability to safely operate lifting devices, including overhead gantry cranes and material handling

equipment

-Ability to lift up to 25 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally
