Motor Equipment Operator IV

Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of street sweepers, Vactor/sewer cleaner/vacuum trucks, and other specialized equipment in the Stormwater section. Operates moderately complex large vehicles and less complex public works construction and stormwater equipment. May be temporarily assigned duties in another Division/Section during slack periods and/or perform additional related work as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

This position requires qualified applicants to possess the following:

• Minimum of three (3) years of experience operating heavy-duty equipment and a high degree of skill in working to engineering grades.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Preferred qualifications include:

• Three (3) years of experience in the stormwater field, and
• Valid FL Class A CDL.
