7:30am-4:30pm, Mon. through Thurs. 7:30am-2:00pm Fri.
Breaks 10:00am-10:15 am; 2:30-2:45 each day (except Fri. afternoons). Lunch 12:00-12:30 each day

Position Summary
Individuals working in the Mount department should be proficient with using many different types of power tools (both electrical and air powered.) This person should also have his/her own hand tools to work with. The candidate should have some experience working with diesel chassis and chassis frames. Previous experience is helpful related to carpentry tasks, such as trim work, using a tape measure proficiently and being familiar with drill bits. Experience in mechanical assembly, metal cutting, drilling, or mounting is helpful. Some experience with MIG welding required. The candidate will use different types of tools and perform a variety of tasks to accomplish the assembly of emergency vehicles. The company will furnish the electrical and air powered tools.
The following is an example of different types of tools the candidate should be familiar with:
- Compound miter saw
- Band saws
- Radial arm saws
- Drill press
- Table grinder
- Jig saws
Routers - Die grinders
- DIA sanders
- Cut-off tools
- Hand drills and drivers
The following is a minimum tools list that the candidate will need to be familiar with before starting work:
- Standard wrenches 3/8" to ¾"
- Standard screw drives both flat-head and pan-head #6-#8
- Standard socket set¼" drive
- Standard socket set 3/8" drive
- Needle nose pliers
- Channel locks
- Side cutters
- Tape measure
Key Responsibilities- Familiarity with diesel chassis and chassis frames desired. Some MIG welding required. Previous work in an automotive manufacturing environment is helpful. ASE certification is a big plus. Must be able to read a tape measure accurately. Must be able to read and write. Must be able to follow instructions, have a good attitude and strong work ethic. Must have good attendance and a stable work history. High School Diploma/GED preferred. Must be able to work occasional overtime as required.
Requirements
This position involves manual labor using assigned tools. This job requires the individual to reach, lift, stand, kneel, bend, stoop, twist, and lie down (on a creeper). Individual will perform a variety of tasks and will be in various positions throughout the workday.
