Responsibilities

How You Can Make a Real Impact:

  • Apply ABA therapy methods and techniques to teach important life skills and help children and teens achieve their goals
  • Carry out ABA behavioral treatment plans and help prepare individuals to eventually transition to other residential environments
  • Provide assistance with activities such as personal hygiene, social awareness, meal preparation, money management, and housekeeping
  • Empower children to develop skills for daily life
  • Encourage their independence through personalized plans of care
  • Plan events and outings to build the Bancroft community
  • Belong to supportive team that holds one another accountable
  • Communicate with residents, families, and guardians

Qualifications

Requirements for Direct Support Professionals in Residential Programs:

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Prior experience in a related field preferred, for more acute programs required
  • Current college students or recent graduates desired
  • Valid non- provisional Driver's License in good standing
  • Pay Range $19.19 - $19.58/hr plus differential
  • Looking to work:
  • 40 hours: Sun 7am-9pm, Monday 2pm-10pm, Tuesday 2pm-10pm & Thursday 12pm-10pm
  • 40 hours: Tuesday 12pm-10pm, Thursday 2pm-10pm, Friday 2pm-10pm, & Saturday 7am-9pm

Please note: Specific programs may have additional education and experience requirements

Requirements for Licensed Behavior Analyst

  • Master's degree with a concentration in Applied Behavior Analysis or related field, plus a minimum of two years of related experience with individuals with developmental disabilities, required.
  • BCBA certification required. *New Jersey licensure in behavior analysis is required. A PhD in a related discipline is desirable.
  • Prior experience in functional assessment and treatment development is highly preferred. Prior management experience is also preferred.
  • Pay Range: $80,340 - $94,666

All Compassionate Team Members Must:

  • Be 18 years of age or older
  • Have a current, non-provisional, non-probationary driver's license in good standing
  • Possess a high school diploma or GED
  • Work well in teams and are open to learning new skills
  • Have the ability and willingness to work weekends
