The Fabricator is responsible for manufacturing, modifying, and repairing metal components used in underground mining roof support and longwall systems. This role supports equipment rebuild and repair operations by producing structurally sound, dimensionally accurate components that meet engineering, quality, and safety requirements.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements
· Industrial fabrication environment within a heavy manufacturing and mining equipment repair facility, involving cutting, forming, fitting, and assembly of large steel components and weldments. Work is performed around powered fabrication machinery, cutting and grinding equipment, overhead cranes, forklifts, and heavy materials, with exposure to industrial noise, metal dust, fumes, vibration, and other fabrication-related hazards.
· Position requires standing and walking for extended periods, bending, kneeling, reaching, and working in various physical positions. Employee must be capable of handling large components using approved lifting devices and must strictly follow safety procedures and required use of personal protective equipment
