Move Assistant

Job Title: Move Assistant (MA) 

General Job Summary: 

Move Assistants (MA) work within clients' homes, assisting with packing, unpacking, and settling into their new spaces. We partner with traditional moving companies for transportation, focusing on creating a seamless, stress-free experience for clients. MAs work alongside Move Managers to ensure each project is completed with a high level of client satisfaction. 

Qualifications: 

• Compassionate and client-centered approach 

• Ability to perform regular physical tasks and handle occasional long days to complete jobs (no heavy lifting) 

• Friendly, empathetic attitude towards clients, often in overwhelming situations 

• Ability to remain calm in demanding environments. 

• Comfortable working collaboratively as part of a team 

• Effective communication and follow-up skills, both verbal and written 

Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Pack and unpack clients' belongings safely and efficiently under the direction of the Move Manager 

• Settle clients into their new space by hanging pictures, making beds, and organizing cabinets. 

• Report promptly to assigned job locations. 

• Work professionally alongside various moving companies and their staff. 

• Strive to deliver an excellent client experience on each project. 

Physical Demands: 

• Lift a minimum of 30 lbs. 

• Requires walking, standing, or sitting for extended periods. 

• Involves reaching, handling, feeling, talking, hearing, and seeing. 

Details & Compensation: 

• Hours are part-time, with scheduling that may vary daily/weekly. 

• A valid driver’s license is required.
