Mover & Cleanout Team Member

Caring Transitions of Englishtown & Marlboro is looking for dependable, hardworking team members to assist with residential moves, estate cleanouts, and other transition projects throughout our service area.

This is a hands-on, physical position ideal for someone who enjoys staying active, working with a team, and helping families through moves and household transitions. No professional moving experience is required. We are looking for people who are reliable, respectful, and ready to work.

Responsibilities

• Move furniture, boxes, and household items safely
• Load and unload trucks, vans, dumpsters, and other vehicles
• Assist with residential and estate cleanouts
• Carry items from homes, basements, garages, attics, and storage areas
• Sort and move items designated for donation, disposal, sale, or relocation
• Help with furniture placement and basic setup during moves
• Protect clients' homes and belongings while moving items
• Keep work areas organized and clean
• Work efficiently with other team members and project leads
• Assist with other hands-on transition projects as needed

What We're Looking For

• Dependable and punctual
• Must be able to safely lift and carry up to 50 lbs
• Comfortable moving furniture, boxes, and household items
• Able to perform physical work throughout the shift, including standing, walking, bending, lifting, carrying, and using stairs
• Able to follow directions and work well as part of a team
• Respectful and professional when working in clients' homes
• Reliable transportation to job locations
• Moving, cleanout, warehouse, delivery, landscaping, construction, or general labor experience is a plus, but not required

Schedule

Part-Time / Flexible

Hours vary depending on scheduled client projects. This position is ideal for someone looking for flexible, hands-on part-time work. Work may take place at different client locations throughout our service area.

Compensation

$16.00 per hour
