Moving Foreman

Moovers is looking for an experienced Moving Foreman to lead our moving crews on-site and ensure every job runs smoothly, safely, and professionally. As Foreman, you'll be the point person on each job directing the crew, communicating with clients, and making sure jobs are completed efficiently and with care.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a crew of movers on residential and/or commercial moves, assigning tasks and keeping the job on schedule.
• Serve as the main point of contact for clients on-site. Walk through the job, answer questions, and address any concerns professionally.
• Ensure furniture, boxes, and belongings are packed, loaded, transported, and unloaded safely and efficiently.
• Inspect items for pre-existing damage and document condition before and after the move.
• Train and mentor crew members, enforcing safety practices and company standards.
• Operate or oversee the safe operation of moving trucks and equipment (dollies, straps, ramps, etc.).
• Handle day-of problem-solving tight spaces, scheduling delays, client requests and keep jobs moving forward.
• Complete paperwork such as bills of lading, inventory sheets, and job summaries.
• Communicate with dispatch/office regarding job status, timing, and any issues.

Requirements

• Prior experience as a mover required; experience leading or supervising a crew strongly preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and perform physical labor throughout the workday.
• Valid driver's license (CDL a plus, not required).
• Reliable, punctual, and able to manage a team under time pressure.
• Comfortable working in varying weather conditions and job environments.

Compensation

$20–$28/hr, depending on experience.
