Job Description
Client Commercial Airplanes is looking for Associate and Experienced Non-Destructive Test (NDT)Specialists to support the In-Service NDT team based in Tukwila, WA on first shift. Position Responsibilities:
* Authors Non-Destructive Test (NDT) procedures.
* Incorporates revisions authored by method Responsible Level III in the standard procedure review process.
* Develops Computer Assisted Drawings (CAD) of specialized calibration standard.
* Performs setup for non-destructive test or measurement equipment to calibration standards.
* Composes procedure Figures providing information on inspection location, geometry, accessibility, probe /transducer placement, and notch signal response.
* Reports potential adverse trends or anomalous results.
Required Skills:
* 1+ years of education or experience in NDI (non-destructive inspection) or NDT (non-destructive test).
* Proficient in MS Office Suite
* Ability to work variable shifts, overtime, and occasional weekends if necessary.
* Ability to travel up to 15% of the time.
* Ability to work in confined spaces.
Preferred Skills:
* 3+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
* 800 hours of Ultrasonic Testing (UT).
* 300 hours of Ultrasonic Shear-Wave Testing
* 800 hours of Eddy Current Testing (ET).
* Experience with CAD Software*Experience writing UT & ET techniques and inspection procedures
