We are seeking an experienced Senior IBM MQ Exit Developer with strong expertise in C programming to support and enhance custom IBM MQ exit solutions across enterprise messaging environments. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of IBM MQ internals, low-level systems programming, and experience developing and maintaining MQ channel exits, API exits, and message exits to support security, integration, monitoring, and operational requirements.

This role requires a hands-on developer who can troubleshoot complex messaging issues, optimize existing MQ exit implementations, and collaborate with infrastructure, security, and application teams to modernize enterprise messaging solutions.

Key Responsibilities

IBM MQ Exit Development & Maintenance

• Develop, maintain, and enhance IBM MQ Channel Exits, API Exits, and Message Exits using C programming.
• Design and implement high-performance, scalable, and thread-safe MQ exit solutions.
• Analyze and optimize existing MQ exit code for performance, reliability, and maintainability.
• Integrate MQ exits with enterprise authentication, authorization, monitoring, and logging frameworks.
• Support message transformation, validation, routing, and security requirements through custom MQ exit implementations.

Production Support & Troubleshooting

• Provide Level 3 support for MQ exit-related production incidents and critical messaging issues.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent fixes for messaging platform issues.
• Troubleshoot complex IBM MQ connectivity, performance, and security-related problems.
• Collaborate with MQ administrators, infrastructure teams, and application owners to ensure platform stability.
