Akkodis is seeking a MQ Exit developer with C programming for a Contract with a client in Dallas, TX. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring thread-safe, high-performance MQ exit implementations while providing production support and modernizing legacy MQ exit solutions.

Rate Range: $56/Hour to $58/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

MQ Exit developer with C programming Job Responsibilities include:

• Maintain and support IBM MQ channel exits, API exits, and message exits using C programming.

• Develop and enhance thread-safe, high-performance MQ exit applications for enterprise messaging environments.

• Integrate MQ exit solutions with external systems such as LDAP, authentication services, and REST-based applications.

• Provide L3 production support, troubleshoot MQ exit-related issues, and perform root cause analysis.

• Collaborate with platform and application teams to modernize legacy MQ exit implementations and leverage native IBM MQ capabilities where applicable.

• Create and maintain technical documentation, deployment procedures, version control standards, and operational runbooks to ensure governance and lifecycle management.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field.

• 10+ years of experience in IBM MQ (WebSphere MQ) administration, development, and MQ Exit development using C programming.

• Strong hands-on experience developing, maintaining, and troubleshooting IBM MQ Channel Exits, API Exits, and Message Exits with expertise in multi-threaded and high-performance environments.

• Proven experience providing L3 production support, integrating MQ exits with enterprise security systems (LDAP, authentication services, REST APIs), and modernizing legacy MQ exit implementations.

Pay Details: $56.00 to $58.00 per hour
