    Job Description

    Work Schedule:

    This is a full-time, 1.0 FTE position that is 100% remote. Hours will vary between 6:30am - 5:30pm based on the operational needs of the department. Applicants hired in this position can work from most states. This will be discussed during the interview process.

    The MRI Protocoling Specialist serves as an enterprise clinical resource for MRI protocol assignment, imaging appropriateness review and MRI safety screening across the organization.

    We are seeking an MRI Protocoling Specialist to:

    • Review MRI orders for completeness, clinical appropriateness, and alignment with established imaging guidelines
    • Collaborate with radiologists to resolve complex protocoling questions and determine imaging strategies.
    • Communicate protocol recommendations with ordering providers, schedulers, MRI technologists and radiologists.
    • Assist in protocol optimization initiatives to improve image quality, operational efficiency, and patient outcomes.

    Qualifications

    • Graduate of a School of Radiologic Technology or ARMRIT Pathway Required
    • Associate''s Degree in a healthcare field. Preferred or
    • Bachelor''s Degree in a healthcare field. Preferred

    Work Experience

    3 years experience in an advanced modality protocoling, safety screening, reviewing implant/device compatibility. Required

    Licenses & Certifications

    • ARRT (R) certification Upon Hire Required or
    • American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist (ARMRIT) Upon Hire Required
    • ARRT Magnetic Resonance (MRI) certification within 12 months Required
