The MRI Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality MRI exams in a timely manner while maintaining a strong understanding of MRI safety protocols, including those related to research workflows. They interact positively with multiple patient populations and serve as a member of the interdisciplinary patient care team. Flexibility is essential, as the position may require on-call availability and holiday coverage. Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education
Graduate from ARRT accredited MRI educational program OR Graduate from ARMRIT accredited MRI education program
Required Licenses
ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT at hire (Preferred) OR
ARRT in one of these Radiography (R)/Nuclear Medicine (N)/Radiation Therapy (T)/ Sonography (S) required and get ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT within 24 months of hire date
Current BLS required

Proficient in operating an MRI scanner and adjusting imaging parameters
Well-versed and compliant in MRI safety and understands research workflow for MRI safety requirements
