What You’ll Do

• Perform MRI procedures for various clinical areas, including trauma, abdominal, pelvic, head, and extremities
• Administer contrast media and ensure radiation safety protocols are followed
• Prepare patients, utilize PACS imaging systems, and operate Siemens MRI equipment
• Collaborate with medical staff in outpatient, inpatient, and emergency settings
• Maintain safety and quality standards during imaging procedures
• Assist in patient positioning and start peripheral IVs as needed

What You Need
Required:

• ARRT MRI certification, BCLS
• 1+ years MRI experience, including experience with Siemens systems
• Ability to perform a wide range of MRI procedures, including head, spine, pelvis, extremities, and specialty imaging (MRA, MRCP, MRV)
• Knowledge of contrast media administration and radiation safety

Preferred:

• Previous traveler experience preferred
• Experience with Emergency Room trauma imaging

About the Assignment
This community hospital serves outpatient, inpatient, and emergency patients, offering a wide variety of MRI procedures. The unit uses Pyxis and Visage PACS systems. The schedule involves three consecutive 12-hour shifts on weekends, providing a balanced workweek with ample time off.
