Job Summary
Seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to perform high-quality MRI examinations in a hospital setting while maintaining strict patient care, imaging, and MRI safety standards.
Key Duties
Verify patient identification, orders, history, and exam requirements; prepare patients for MRI procedures.
Perform MRI examinations according to department protocols and established standards.
Demonstrate knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy, positioning, and MRI protocols.
Select appropriate scanning techniques in coordination with the radiologist.
Administer IV contrast as ordered and under appropriate radiologist/physician supervision.
Operate MRI scanners and related imaging/information systems to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
View, transfer, archive, and manipulate electronic images as required.
Troubleshoot MRI equipment and understand proper scanner start-up and shutdown procedures.
Demonstrate knowledge of the MRI magnet, cryogens, gradient amplifiers, and related hardware/software.

1 year of MRI experience – Required
One of the following credentials:
ARRT(MR) – Required
