Scheduling:

• Weekend rotation: Refer to requisition for schedule; could be every weekend depending on requisition
• On call: No
• Holiday Expectations: could be scheduled for some holidays
• Approval of RTO: to go through manager
• Shift times: Refer to requisition
• Schedule cycle: Schedule made quarterly and will be available a few weeks-months prior to quarter beginning

Unit Information:   Beds: 1 MRI Suite

Census: Average patients/day: Sat/Sun – 9 per day, Weekdays – 17 per day

Minimum Years of Experience required: 2+ years of experience

Will you accept a first-time traveler: No

Patient Types/Common Diagnoses:

• Inpatient, Outpatient, mostly adults
• Neuro, spine, tumor work ups, cord compression, cardiac imaging, breast, enterography, abdominal, whole body, ortho, spectroscopy

Required License, National Certification, Certs:  BLS, ARRT-MR

Skills required:

• Experience with above case types. Send for manager approval if candidate is lacking any of them
• Hard Stops: IV starts
• EPIC experience required

Support within the Department:

• RT at hospital
• Imaging Assistant
• Additional Techs – multiple teammates staffed during weekday, 1 MRI Tech + assistant on weekends
• Hospitalist 24/7

Technology/Equipment:

• EMR: EPIC - required
• PACS: Change Healthcare

Unit specific equipment: Siemens Aera MRI
