Job Title: MRI Technologist

Department: 798C Riverstone Radiology – MRI Tech

Facility: Riverstone Radiology
Address: 720 Transit Ave, Building 200, Suite 201, Canton, GA 30114

Contract Length: 13 Weeks

Schedule: Day Shift – 4x10s, 40 Hours per Week
Hours: 9:00 AM – 7:30 PM
Days: Monday–Friday (schedule determined by department)

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of recent MRI Technologist experience
  • ARRT (MRI) Certification required
  • Current AHA BLS Certification required
  • No local candidates within 50 miles of the facility

Job Summary

The MRI Technologist performs magnetic resonance imaging procedures to produce high-quality diagnostic images for physician interpretation. The technologist is responsible for ensuring patient safety, maintaining imaging quality standards, and providing excellent patient care in an outpatient radiology setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform MRI examinations according to physician orders and established imaging protocols
  • Operate MRI equipment safely and efficiently to obtain diagnostic-quality images
  • Screen patients for MRI safety and contraindications prior to imaging
  • Monitor patients throughout procedures and provide compassionate patient care
  • Maintain accurate documentation and imaging records
  • Ensure compliance with MRI safety guidelines, infection control standards, and departmental policies
  • Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to support quality patient outcomes

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of recent MRI Technologist experience
  • ARRT (MRI) certification required
  • Current AHA BLS certification required
  • Strong knowledge of MRI procedures, patient care, and safety standards
  • Previous outpatient imaging experience preferred

Additional Information

  • 13-week travel assignment
  • Outpatient radiology setting
  • Day shift schedule: 9:00 AM–7:30 PM
  • 40 hours per week
  • Local candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for this assignment.
