Description

Job Title: MRI Technician

Duration: 13 Weeks
Location: Northside Johnson Ferry Imaging
993F Johnson Ferry Road, Atlanta, GA 30342

Schedule:

Days | 36 hours/week
Thursday & Friday: 7:00 AM – 8:30 PM
Saturday: 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM

Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years of recent MRI experience within the specialty.
Active ARRT (MRI) certification required.
Current AHA BLS certification required.
No local candidates within 50 miles.

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform high-quality MRI examinations in accordance with physician orders and established imaging protocols.
Screen patients for MRI safety, verify medical history, and assess for contraindications prior to scanning.
Prepare and position patients appropriately to obtain optimal diagnostic images while ensuring comfort and safety.
Operate MRI equipment, select appropriate imaging sequences, and adjust technical factors as needed.
Administer contrast media when indicated, following physician orders and facility protocols while monitoring for adverse reactions.
Monitor patients throughout MRI procedures and respond promptly to any changes in condition or emergencies.
