Description

Job Title: MRI Technician

Duration: 13 Weeks
Location: Northside Johnson Ferry Imaging
993F Johnson Ferry Road, Atlanta, GA 30342

Schedule:

  • Days | 36 hours/week
  • Thursday & Friday: 7:00 AM – 8:30 PM
  • Saturday: 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of recent MRI experience within the specialty.
  • Active ARRT (MRI) certification required.
  • Current AHA BLS certification required.
  • No local candidates within 50 miles.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Perform high-quality MRI examinations in accordance with physician orders and established imaging protocols.
  • Screen patients for MRI safety, verify medical history, and assess for contraindications prior to scanning.
  • Prepare and position patients appropriately to obtain optimal diagnostic images while ensuring comfort and safety.
  • Operate MRI equipment, select appropriate imaging sequences, and adjust technical factors as needed.
  • Administer contrast media when indicated, following physician orders and facility protocols while monitoring for adverse reactions.
  • Monitor patients throughout MRI procedures and respond promptly to any changes in condition or emergencies.
