We are seeking an experienced MRI Technician to perform high-quality magnetic resonance imaging procedures in a fast-paced clinical environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and compassionate patient care while ensuring diagnostic accuracy and adherence to safety standards.
Prepare and position patients accurately to capture optimal diagnostic images.
Select appropriate anatomic and technical parameters for each scan.
Conduct patient pre-screening, scheduling, and education related to MRI procedures.
Enter, manage, and verify patient data within imaging systems and PACS.
Transfer and store images accurately, ensuring proper labeling, lead markers, and patient identifiers.
Follow all MRI and radiation safety protocols to protect patients and staff.
Ensure timely submission of high-quality images and related documentation to PACS.
Monitor and maintain MRI equipment, reporting malfunctions or performance issues promptly.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe imaging environment — including exam rooms, control areas, and storage spaces.
Provide patient-centered care with professionalism, empathy, and respect.
Minimum of 2 years of MRI experience in a hospital or imaging center setting.
ARRT (MR) certification or equivalent required.
Active state license (if applicable).
Current BLS certification required.
Strong understanding of MRI physics, anatomy, and cross-sectional imaging.
Experience working with PACS and RIS systems.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and effectively in a collaborative healthcare team.
Availability for an every-other-weekend rotation, with two weekdays off during scheduled weekend shifts.
Hospital-based imaging department.
Evening shift, Monday through Friday (3:00 PM - 11:30 PM).
Every other weekend rotation, maintaining 40 hours per week.
