Detailed Job Description:

Domain: University

Job Title: Radiologic Technologist 

Location:  Onsite at Stanford, CA 94305

Duration: 06 Months (High potential Extension/Conversion based on performance)

Pay Rate: $62-70/hr 

Top 3 job requirements:

  • CT or MRI scanning background, adapts quickly, strong knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy
  • Candidate MUST have an ARRT or AMRIT license, as this is required
Certifications & licenses:
  • Must hold one of the following certifications: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), California Registry of Radiologic Technologists, or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT).
  • Advanced ARRT registry (e.g., CT, MR, etc.) desired.
Requirement:
  • Two-year degree and one year of relevant experience, or a combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High degree of judgment and skill.
  • Reliable self-starting and self-directed nature, exhibiting initiative and focused work ethic.
  • Basic knowledge in cross-sectional anatomy and physiology, sterile technique, patient relations, medical imaging examination preparation, and medical imaging safety and screening procedures.
  • Basic knowledge and skills in the operation of medical imaging systems, 3D reformations, and post-processing procedures.
  • Basic working knowledge of medical imaging physics, principles, tissue contrast, and applications.
  • Familiarity with Unix, Windows, Mac, and/or Linux computer operating systems; experience in MR system operation and troubleshooting system and computer issues.
  • Ability to identify images for post-processing and/or artifacts in the images; ability to respond to detailed requests for views and/or images depicting certain anatomy and/or pathology.
  • Experience in teaching and instruction of technologists, researchers, and/or physicians.
  • Ability to collaborate with other professional colleagues.
